OPS Code of Ethics

  • Members of the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society are required to abide by the organization's articles of incorporation, bylaws, and standing rules.
  • No member of the society shall act in a manner which brings harm to the society or reflects unfavorably on the society.
  • No member of the society shall misrepresent or misuse the CRA, FOPS or other credential or awards bestowed by the society.
  • Officers and committee members will make every effort to avoid the appearance or reality of a conflict of interest where their OPS duties are concerned.
  • Members shall refrain from product or service endorsements associated with the OPS or their service to the OPS.
  • Violations of this code of ethics may result in loss of membership, and all rights in the Ophthalmic Photographers' Society.
