Certification Program for Optical Coherence Tomographers


The Optical Coherence Tomographer Certification (OCT-C) designates an individual who has met the OPS BOC standards of competence in optical coherence tomography.  The OPS BOC standards are meant to assure delivery of competent, professional optical coherence tomography services.

The steps to certification include:

  1. Documented employment history as an Optical Coherence Tomography Imager (min. 1 year)
  2. Successful submission of a required portfolio (Details in Program Guide, Specific Requirements for Spectralis, Cirrus)
  3. Successful completion of a written exam
